Officers console kids while mom accused of robbing Walmart is arrested

SAN ANTONIO — Two San Antonio officers are getting online praise for consoling two children who were crying while their mom was arrested.
Last week, a man and woman who were suspected of robbing a Walmart were arrested during a traffic stop. Officers noticed the woman's children were in the back seat crying.
Officer Mauricio and Crime Scene Investigator Bagley-Duffy then consoled the kids and took their minds off their mom being arrested. The kids were given stickers, hugs and even ice cream by other officers on scene.
