Apple watches could accidentally dial 911, causing problem for dispatchers

OTTAWA COUNTY, Mich. (WKRC) - Dispatchers in Ottawa County, Michigan say they are getting inadvertent 911 calls all the time due to new technology, according to a report by WXMI.

These calls are coming from Apple Watches and other devices with voice-activated tech.

Dispatchers say they're getting about 10 per week, which can waste valuable time and resources.
