Deer tangled in soccer net freed by officers in West Virginia

JACKSON COUNTY, W.Va. (WCHS/WVAH) - A deer that became stuck in a soccer net in Jackson County is roaming free again thanks to the work of two officers.
Lt. Chris Metz and Sgt. Eric Cullen of the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office responded after someone reported that a deer was stuck in a soccer net on Hemlock Road.
The two officers worked to untangle the animal from the net and freed the deer.
The deer immediately bounced off the ground and ran away into the woods.
