Church service interrupted by fighting couple

FELLSMERE, Fla. (WPEC) - A fight between a man and his girlfriend spilled into a Fellsmere church, interrupting the service.
Police say the fight started in the street at North Willow and Lincoln streets.
Witnesses told police the man had slapped the woman in the face. She reportedly ran to the church for help and he followed. Witnesses say he tried to hit her as they ran.
Police said the woman interrupted the church service to ask for help. The suspect, identified as Juan Dominguez Garciano, stayed outside until police arrived.
He was arrested and taken to the Indian River County Jail on a charge of battery domestic violence. He was the woman's live-in boyfriend.
