Jude Law is in talks to play the male lead in Brie Larson's upcoming "Captain Marvel" movie.

The Brit is currently portraying a young Albus Dumbledore in Harry Potter spin-off "Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald," and it's beginning to look likely he'll follow that up with a trip to the Marvel universe.

Law is also still attached to star in a third Sherlock Holmes movie, as Dr. Watson.

In "Captain Marvel," Oscar winner Larson will play Carol Danvers, an Air Force pilot who is involved in an accident, during which she gains superpowers of strength and flight after her DNA is fused with an alien's.

Ben Mendelsohn is attached as the film's villain.

"Captain Marvel" will hit cinemas in March 2019.
