Jamie Lee Curtis only agreed to be part of 1998 horror movie "Halloween H2O" for the paycheck.

The actress will reprise her Laurie Strode character in one more "Halloween" movie this year, and she insists she really wanted to be a part of this project, unlike the last time she signed on for a return.

Four decades after she first played Strode in the original "Halloween," Curtis tells Variety, "H2O started out with best intentions, but it ended up being a money gig. The film had some good things about it. It talked about alcoholism and trauma, but I ended up really doing it for the paycheck."

Her final outing as Strode will hit cinemas in October.
