Warner Bros. Pictures treated fans to nearly three minutes of footage from its 2017 “Justice League” movie during its DC Films panel at San Diego Comic-Con Saturday.

The teaser prepared by director Zack Snyder specifically for Comic-Con formally introduces Ezra Miller as the Flash, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, and Ray Fisher as Cyborg, characters glimpsed briefly in “Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice.”

After receiving warnings in that film that a massive threat is coming to Earth, Batman (Ben Affleck) is seen gathering a team of heroes to defend the planet. After critics and fans complained about the dark tone of “Batman v. Superman,” a lighter touch is clearly on display here in Batman's first meetings with Aquaman and the Flash.

Absent from the video is Henry Cavill's Superman, who seemingly died at the end of "Batman v. Superman."

“Justice League” is scheduled to hit theaters in November 2017.

Also on Saturday, Warner Bros. released the first trailer for next summer’s “Wonder Woman” solo film.

Featuring the version of the character played by Gal Gadot in “Batman v. Superman,” the story builds on the photo showing her with U.S. soldiers in 1918 that Batman discovered in that film.

In the trailer, American pilot Steve Trevor (Chris Pine) washes up on Paradise Island and is found by Diana (Gadot), who has never seen a man before. Dialogue reveals her origin, brought to life by the god Zeus.

The trailer is heavy on battle scenes and war footage, with relatively few actual story details beyond that.

Directed by Patty Jenkins from a script by Allan Heinberg and Geoff Johns, “Wonder Woman” is scheduled for release on June 2, 2017.

The Comic-Con panel featured new footage from next month's "Suicide Squad" film, directed by David Ayer and starring Will Smith, Margot Robbie, and others as a government-run team of supervillains.

A sizzle reel promoting the soundtrack was shown, building anticipation for the movie's August 5 release.

Warner Bros. also confirmed that Ben Affleck will direct and star in a solo “Batman” film.

“It’s really inspiring. It’s like taking on a great play. It’s been reinvented so many times, it’s terrifying but it’s exciting,” Affleck said at the panel, according to Entertainment Weekly.

No release date has been set, but it is expected between 2018 and 2020.
