Geena Davis and Alan Ruck will not be back as regulars for the return of "The Exorcist" TV series.

Davis starred as Angela Rance in the creepy show when it debuted last year, but series bosses have confirmed the story will move on to another family for season two, although the "Thelma & Louise" star could return for a guest spot.

Ruck played Davis' mentally challenged husband in the horror series.

The show's priests, played by Alfonso Herrera, Kurt Egyiawan and Ben Daniels will return to battle evil again in the TV spin-off of the cult horror movie franchise based on the novel by William Peter Blatty.
