Production on Daniel Craig's final James Bond movie will begin on December 3, 2018.

The untitled 25th James Bond film will be released in the U.K. on October 25, 2019, and in the U.S. on November 8, 2019.

Oscar winner Danny Boyle will direct John Hodge's script based on an idea by the "Slumdog Millionaire" filmmaker.

Producers Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli confirmed the news on Thursday, stating: "We are delighted to announce that the exceptionally talented Danny Boyle will be directing Daniel Craig in his fifth outing as James Bond in the 25th installment of the franchise.

"We will begin shooting Bond 25 at Pinewood Studios in December with our partners at MGM and thrilled that Universal will be our international distributor."
