Leonardo DiCaprio sent his "Boo Boo" Jennifer Lopez a hilarious text message on the latest installment of James Corden's "Carpool Karaoke."

The 46-year-old singer joined Corden for an hour-long "Carpool Karaoke" primetime special which aired on Tuesday night.

During their time together in the car, it was the superstar's celebrity-filled mobile phone that caused a stir with the host. When asked who the most famous person is in her phone, Lopez pulled out her cell to show Corden the contact list, with names including Demi Lovato, Chris Brown, Bradley Cooper and Dwayne Johnson.

Footballer Cristiano Ronaldo got the most dramatic reaction from Corden though, who exclaimed: "Oh my God - hang on, I've got to pull in. This is the best phone I've ever seen in my life. This is insane. Fergie, Iggy Azalea."

Corden then found Oscar-winning actor DiCaprio's number on the cell and proceeded to compose a text message. He kicked things off by writing "Hey, Leo," before Lopez interjected that she would never start a text with "Hey, Leo."

After some debating, Corden composed a message which read: "Hey baby, I'm kind of feeling like I need to cut loose. Any suggestions? Let me know. J-Lo, you know, from the block."

While Lopez laughed that she wasn't going to let Corden send the message, he had already done so. The pair then sang along to one of J-Lo's hit songs, "On The Floor," by the end of which DiCaprio had responded.

"He wrote back!" Lopez laughed, to which Corden replied, "No way. No, he did not!"

DiCaprio's response was classic, as Lopez read out: "You mean tonight, Boo Boo? Club-wise?"

She giggled: "See, here's the funny part is that he actually thinks I'm serious!" And Corden added: "I love that he wants you to cut loose. This guy is the best."

However, Lopez insisted she has more important priorities in her life than clubbing these days, telling Corden: "I'm totally not (going)! I'll be home cooking with my kids."

As well as her singing and acting career, Lopez is famous for her curvy physique and, in particular, her prominent posterior. Corden also jumped at the chance to ask Lopez about rumors she had her butt insured for $1 million, with the singer insisting the claims are entirely untrue.

"No! There is no such thing as that," she said. "I think there is a place in your homeland where you can insure certain things, parts of your body - seriously. I think that exists. I've heard that. Not here, I don't think!"

Lopez also admitted she didn't see the point in insuring her derriere, or why it would be useful.

"Something happens to it? It disappears? Somebody steals it?" she asked.
