Singer Beyonce reportedly received a visit from Democratic presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton while filming a music video.

The "Drunk In Love" star, who is currently working on a new album, was recently in Los Angeles shooting a promo for the record when a special guest joined her in the studio, according to Us Weekly.

It is unclear if former Secretary of State Clinton will appear in the video or what the purpose of the set visit was, but she has often heaped praise on Beyonce in the past, and she's clearly a fan.

"I want to be as good a president as Beyonce is a performer," she said. "You see her on TV, it's impressive; you see her in person, you're just stunned. Thinking like, 'How does she do that?' Really. I mean, she's singing, she's up and she's down. She's just amazing."

Beyonce has shown her support for the Democratic candidate in the past as well - in May, she attended a Clinton fundraising event in New York City.

Meanwhile, Beyonce fans are eager to hear her new material and songwriter Carla Marie Williams reveals her upcoming album is "very powerful."

"When I'm in the studio with Beyonce she makes you feel so at ease you forget she's a superstar," she told British newspaper The Mirror. "I'm loving where she's going. I haven't heard the whole album but we're talking real issues. The new single we've done is very powerful."

Beyonce released her new single "Formation" last month and performed the single during the Super Bowl football game, but it is unclear when the new album will be released.
